Do You Need Personal Trainer

Do I Need a Personal Trainer?

When it comes to personal training there is a lot more involved than what most may think. Below are just a few reasons as to why it may be the best decision you ever made.

Technique Instruction and Training

The most significant services a personal fitness coach can propose is the expertise and capability to show you how to perform the exercises correctly. But this does not just involve moving a weight from point A to point B. It’s not that straightforward and having the understanding of this WILL improve your results incredibly.

Progression and Training Program Creation

Everyone’s program needs to be individual. This takes thought, education, proper assessment of the client, experience and many other variables.

Without proper design of the training program, progress can end up being sluggish or not on-going and the more likely for an injury to be greatly increased. Progress strategy is considerably extra than just downloading a twelve-week training plan from your preferred fitness website.

Expert Nutritional advice

What is eaten outside of the gym is just as important as the training itself.

However, knowing what to eat and especially how much of each food is very hard to understand.

How much is too much?

High Carb?
High fat?
Low Carb?
Can you eat late at night?
6 meals?
3 meals?

I think you get the idea. However, qualified and experienced instructors understand macronutrients and their connection to achieving goals and performing to the highest capable standard. They can advise you on which foods to pick in many varieties, along with how to learn and know your personal dietary needs.

Keep you Motivated

Being driven and get motivated every day can almost be impossible.

Someone may be able to get you to stick to a training and nutrition protocol, but exceptional training instructors are clever enough to know and find out their clients psychological and emotional desires. They can get their clients to keep pushing and keep consistent even when the client wants to give up. It’s not easy for our bodies to change and we need to dig deep in every training session. Having someone in your corner will only make you more motivated and advance your results.

Accountability

“I don’t have time”. This is the most used reason for people as to why they don’t train. How many times have you skipped that gym session because you were too tired? too busy? the list goes on and on.

When you make the commitment to invest in a personal training instructor you are no longer only accountable to you, but also to that trainer also. You’ll soon find that you’re able to manage yourself a lot better and “create” a foundation so you will not miss your planned workout.

Goal Setting

A lot of people go to the gym on a no plan basis and just go through the motions, and then ask themselves why they have not gained any muscle or lost any weight in the six months.

Having a goal in mind is so important to achieving the results you want. These don’t have to be 1 single goal or something that will take years to achieve. Short term goals are also just as important. Short term goals will keep you on track and you’ll soon realise how fast all those small wins add up.

No one knows their Own Body

Experienced personal trainers have extreme knowledge of their own bodies, and have a lot of experience with all diverse body types. If they do not know straight away what works for you, they will quickly discover as to what changes need to be made to your workout routine and nutrition in order to get the results you’re after.

Here at cover model body gym we truly practice what we preach and are big advocates in helping our clients in any shape or form that we can.

Anyone can find a personal trainer but not everyone can find the right one.
