Nicky had just had her first baby and also underwent a C-section in the process. Due to over eating while pregnant Nicky put on a lot of unwanted weight, so she decided to search for a Personal Trainer Dublin post pregnancy. She found The CMB Gym on Google and once she saw the testimonials she made her initial appointment to come in for a consultation.
This wasn’t just about losing weight for Nicky, she wanted to learn and understand how to train properly, learn the science behind nutrition, the importance of sleep and how to improve her assimilation (Digestion). After our appointment Nicky was delighted to sign up for an initial three months at three training sessions per week. She lost a whopping 17 pounds all while getting increasingly stronger and building up her pelvic floor and core after giving birth.
The importance of resistance training before and after having a child is immense and Nicky is acquiesce to this. Although Nicky signed up post pregnancy she now understands the importance of resistance training leading up to and after giving birth and now has the tools and foundation required to implement the strategies and knowledge we passed on to her.
